Just came on to quickly post some good news but read that Mr3dogs has sadly passed away. I'm so sorry to hear this :( I only followed the 3dogs story from earlier this year but I've been fighting back tears thinking of what a brave couple they were in the face of adversity.

I hope no-one minds but when I lost someone very close to me, I heard Kirsty MacColl's Days shortly after. I've always found it very comforting.

Very sad to read about the news today...don't quite know how to put it any better than many others on here have already done, but have also lit a candle in memory of Alan. I'm sure 3Dogs will find comfort in all the heartfelt messages of support from our little community. t4420.gif

Finding it hard to read the thread without tearing up at the min, I'm such a sap :(
I will try and get the kids in bed a little earlier and be there at 8pm with my coffee.

I've got to be honest I've had a little cry every time I've logged in today, it seems unreal to be so upset by the passing of someone I have never met but I love this thread and all the support everyone gives to each other, it feels like I've made real friends, Alan and Susan have been so courageous in their battle agains the dreaded C, and I've a heavy heart today to read that Alan has passed away, they have both been in my thoughts and prayers and I hope that 3Dogs can gather some strength from all the love and support we send her at this difficult time.

I hope that made sense as I'm on my phone posting through tears again.

And thanks silvercar for posting the site for the candle i lit one first thing as soon as it was posted this morning and now there is nearly 200 candles lit!!

Good news for me probably isn't that good to everyone else but I was so happy to get home from work and find my neighbour had taken in a free pack of Cheerios and a peanut kit-kat from the postie. Seems pathetic in the grand scheme of things now :(

I hope no-one minds me posting this, colgate plax mouth wash is £1 BOGOF (or cheapest free but workds out as bogof) and there is a 50p voucher http://www.colgateplax.co.uk/get-your-coupon.

nahteb20 I know exactly what you mean, I have talked about them both to friends and my other half as though I know them in real life. It's so warming to read how many people are touched by their story :A

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

Good news is still good news :)

I had some myself today but felt that it maybe wasn't appropriate to post. Like you, it's only good news for me but it has made me smile :)

I just happened to be looking at the Kurt Geiger website again today and they just happened to have had the same shoes that they cancelled off my order last week; in my size too do I have ordered them :) someone had returned them which is why they were available again

That is my good thing for today

    What is everyone else's?
