Mr Ree, I thought you said you were retired in previous posts??
I am retired ... in that I am collecting my Pension - but, due to the massive shortfall in manpower I go in on a Consultancy basis ..... £1,500 a day is the going rate for my vast experience.
Sadly, though, new entrants have to suffer a very poor £50k Salary ... this very quickly increases, however.Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0 -

Inflation is coming down and its not really unexpected this months drop has been penciled in for months as VAT has fallen off the calculation the next big drop is June when last year food inflation finally slowed right down. The other big inflation driver is sterling falling against major currencies which again does not look likely. Inflation will be below 2% before the year end its just maths really.0

If last June saw a drop in food inflation then unless this happens again with the same or greater force, the result will tend to be an increase, not a decrease, in the headline annual inflation rate for this coming June0 -

Unfortunately I gdid say lowley
dont have a degree, I have HNC and NVQs and am a tech not an engineer. Im council registered but not chartered. My knowledge is in repair/fault finding not design.
Shame - I need a new challenge. I do however know of many degree qualified engineers, from my background, with 20-30 years experience looking at new posts.0
