Managed to get my deep fat fryer, and picked up a £33 turkey down to 3.30 popped it into freezer will have it an a couple of weeks instead of chicken
All SEL's that I could see were right. Ah well maybe another day.
Had a fall out with OH and he can't understand my point. I am the one who has arranged everything for christmas, done all the shopping and wrapping, then all the cooking yesterday, he was meant to be on pot washing duty and he didn't do it, I washed the cutlery but back was in agony so I left it, he went to make a start late last night and I told him to leave it while morning seen as he was getting up with kids, I ended up waking up to them and then getting him up so I could go back to bed which put me in a bad mood to start, 3 and half hours later I got up to find he had done absolutely nothing and now he can't see why I am mad... He is actually blaming me for telling him to leave them last night. Grrr. Sorry for the rant.
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -
Hi Folks.
Merry Christmas. Just coming on here to let off steam. Waiting for OH and DD to get ready again! to go out again!. Waited ages this morning for showers, make up etc to get to lunch & bit of sale shopping and visit to the beach for fresh air. Now going out for evening boxing day home events with the two sides of family. Showers and makeup needed again!! How many showers do people need in one day? The number of showers had in our household today would have seen HC through for six months! (sorry HC:o) See you later when normal service will be resumed:cool:

I popped into Mr T Read1ng Nap1er Rd this morning, on my way back from town, and had an amazing shop.
* Woopsies - half of these went to my mum & dad
2 x fresh turkeys - £3.80 from £19
4 packs of salmon fillets - 80p from £4
4 packs of minced beef steak - 70p from £3.80 ....BUT multibuy kicked in, so I got paid 30p to take each pack away!
3 packs of mashed potato - 18p from 90p
2 bags of new potatos - 27p from £1.35
* last 3 packs of the flower cleaning wipes - 7p each
* KP dry roasted nuts 1p each- they are lots left if anyone is looking for them *eta* sorry 5p was a typo - 1p a bag
* The party food is no longer taking money off rest of your shopping if reduced. I tried 4 packs of potato skins at 60p each, but no luck.
Also demister pads now scanning at over £1 each for me, and no DTDs that I could find.
I reduce my working hours to 75% from next week, so money will be tight for me. To start of with a freezer full of very cheap meat and fish is a big help, and I was so happy to fill my mum and dads freezer for them as well.0 -
