Hi Chris, You'll need to get all three credit files, click on blue links below:-

    Experian - Click here

    Equifax - Click here

    Callcredit - Click here

They are £2 each for paper copies. Some people have used the online one's and have said the information was very poor compared to the paper copies.

It varies, some debts you may find listed on all three, others on just one or two of them. Just go through each report carefully and write down each debt only once on a separate sheet of paper.

Don't worry if you do miss any off your BR forms though, ALL debts in existence before you go BR will be included.

Just bear in mind If's comment that some members have reported the free reports aren't always as complete as the £2 Statutory Reports you can get through the post.

So, although those links If gave take you to the page for 'free' reports, you will be better off writing for the paper copies, my link above gives you information for that.

I really must put together a post like If's with links direct to the agencies' web pages about the statutory reports, they're just such a faff to find though.;)

well i think the Equifax one could be a problem, i went through registering and adding card details but got this at the end:

We have your information and you’re nearly finished in setting up your service. All we need now is to ask you some final questions. Call us on 0844 335 0550 (Calls will be charged at 5p per min from a BT landline, charges from other networks may vary and from mobile phones cost significantly more) to complete your purchase today!

not sure what to do about that tbh

Some members have had problems applying online for their statutory reports and ended up posting off ID before receiving the reports.

Over the last 15-20 years I've applied for my reports probably half a dozen times by post and never had to submit ID. I always receive the reports back within about 2 weeks.

Let me see if I can get those links for you to print out and fill in the forms each agency supplies for posting off...

Equifax - scroll down for 'order paper copy by post' form.

Experian - again, scroll down for 'ordering by post'.

CallCredit - scroll down for 'order on paper'.

OK, that's good to know. The links are above now. Obviously no guarantee they won't still write back to you for more info or an ID, but as I said, I've never had a problem ordering them by post and so far not heard anyone else have a problem with that route either, it just seems to be a thing with their online ordering.
