Not coupon related but money saving related.

Tesco Sunflower oil 1l is still scanning through at 28p if your lucky enough to have any left at your store all mine gone
Thread on grabbit board (pc/internet playing up wont let me link)
Crespo Olives the ones in the pouches 4 varieties scanning at 22p-24p instead of 99p BB 2013
Homepride Chilli Cook in sauce in a tin now 10p. BB 2013

Morning everyone

Haven't had a chance to catch up on all the posts yet. Not really sure what's happening. is IS still happy to update this thread? Is MT going to help? I'm assuming the votes are in and that the thread will be coupons and coupon related chat?

Anyway, had a great day at Mr A on Saturday. Managed to get a £50 shop down to £20 :j I gave the SA my coupons before starting and it seemed to help and speed the process along. Although she had to get authorisation and then the till started having a fit when I gave in my APGs :rotfl:but all in all a very good shop.

Oh remember to check out the Grabbit thread as there appears to be a number of Tesco glitches at the moment.

Don't know how many people have an asda near them but Veet hair minimising body lotion is £4.98 there but only £3.32 in Sainsbobs so you would get a £1.99 price check voucher back; plus veet are offering a "Try me Free" offer so you would get the £4.98 you paid back. Potentially getting yourself £1.99 and a free tube of Veet stuff because you only need to send the reciept to get your money back.

Of course, you'd still have to get the 8 comparable items and make sure they were all more expensive or the same price as another shop, but may be worth knowing for someone.

According to a post in the drivel thread there is criticism here about the format of the coupon posts at the beginning. I haven't seen any of this criticism but if there is- that is dreadful.
IS has put a lot of work in to updating and I for one have really benefitted from it. The bad feeling has stemmed from the fact that someone(not IS as far as I can see) decided to take matters into their own hands before the poll even ended.
The drivel thread is here for the moment so perhaps the way to look at is that those who like to post drivel and want to use the thread do so. This thread continues with posts without going to the extremes of querying why something isn't 100% coupon related.

I'd like to put forward a suggestion. Moneytight and IS could easily work together. Moneytight could keep a post where links to the coupon news posts are added to- done through editing. A link to that post can then be given to IS. Saves IS looking through every post and gets moneytight involved too and we all benefit.

I know its a bit cheeky using the blue but IS will find it easier and hopefully its a way to sort this mess out that we are in just now.

Coupon and chat mixed thread

Morning all

I think this will be my last post for a while at least, as I'm not sure I even want to be a lurker at the moment. The last few days the atmosphere on here is not what it was and while I don't mind reading through posts that include non coupon chat, I can't say I enjoyed the rather sad reading of late. I hope things will settle down eventually, but for now I have more than enough to fit in to my day without wading through all the "unhappy" posts, and seeing what was once one happy thread, turned into 2 threads where no one really seems to be happy.

Hi and good morning everyone.:)

I was busy yesterday so could not pop here. Noticed too many posts arguing about the polls. Some supporting me, and some against me.

Anyway what I have come to conclusion is that, I would like to maintain the thread with the help of moneytight of course if she is still willing to.

She will make a list of all the coupons in one post, which I will update once in a day excluding weekends, which I will do on mondays.

And if she is not happy with doing us together, I am happy to do it on my own.

Some of my friends have already doing all the "chat" post on drivel, to help me. :A:A:AI really appreciate it, as it really saves the time in updating.:T:T:T

A big thanks for this drivel thread.:beer:

So to those who have time and don't mind going through both the threads, can keep track of both. The ones who don't wish to visit drivel can stick here. its totally upto them.

Hope everyone is happy with this thought and please bring back the cheer and happiness to this thread which is lost on here for a while now.

I really wish from my heart that this thread does not turn to DTD thread and finally leading to closure. I know no one would like it.

So please join in all the oldies, newbies, with all the smiles.:A
