Yvette Cooper has got a higher role too.
Does the labour party not yet understand that these two really wind people up? Yvette with her non stop butting in to anyone talking and flatly refusing to acknowledge and resemblence of any argument. The women is always right in her mind and that's that. You aint getting past her, no matter how many people disagree with her, shes right, end of and she'll simply talk over you until you give up.
Then you have Balls, with his slimey face, grinning whenever he twists the truth which makes it so stupidly obvious, that many people feared would be the chancellor if labour won again.
They had the best figurehead in the role, with Alan Johnson. The bloke answered every questions, real down to earth. Liked him. Quite liked Andy Burnham too, but he seemed to change, probably due to pressure when it looked like labour were gonna lose.
The only thing Ed Balls may be able to do, is shoot the opposition on anything and everything, in a way which makes it look like labour have won the argument. However, they won't have, as he'll be grinning away again, and twisting everything constantly. I think he'll be pretty good at that.0 -

Shame that Johnson has gone, he seemed decent enough. Replacing him with Balls further alienates the Labour front line from me.
The interview with Balls I saw today reminded me of why Labour lost ground in the last General election. He said nice words about Johnson and then in the same breath started talking about himself!Hoping this year is better than the last.0
