Pernicious wrote: »Morning all,
I'm up early as I ended up cancelling my annual leave today because when my colleagues found out why I couldn't make the Xmas do yesterday, they decided to chip in for my ticket & will then get it back on expenses later. I felt so embarassed yet flattered that they cared so much too, as much as I whinge about working here some days I really do love some of the people here!
That's so lovely. Hope you have a great time.Pernicious wrote: »Keep reading through "losing lbs whilst saving £££'s" thread
Must admit to buying an apple danish from their trailer todayMaking magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
sorry for late check in...Not feeling great....will be okay. Just tired from trying to go nocturnal to escape the conspiracy (Dr. C says this is a delusion...Hmm...move away from the Land Rover Dr. C...at least the drivers seat)
But the good news is I picked up a new purse in the charity shop (tula) for £3.50 when I went to the bank for cash and they were lovely and so understanding and on tuesday I see the same lady (when I get paid) and like I just take in my ISA cash card...:j...
Hope everyone is well...praying for some nice cards (of the money/bus pass variety) in the post today

struggling to find a pattern for this wool I bought =(
if anyone can help... I am after a pattern for a triangular shawl/cowl/shrug with a simple lace pattern. the wool is called big softy (not the sirdir (sp) brand but a cheaper version) and knits as standard chunky and mohair.
Happycrafter - Are you on Ravelry??? If not, join up, search for the wool and see what everyone else has knitted with it. Or search for a pattern and see if you can substitute the wool... Otherwise you can 'stash' the wool and say you'd like to sell or trade it with someone who needs it.
Me:- Declined offer of the pub...

- Turned the fridge freezer back on  so going to do a shop tonight so we can get some home cooked food cooking this weekend...Or might be using my slow cooker for making mulled wine
- Free cuppa in work x 2
Littlekel - hope everything goes ok for your DD x
Stitchy - have fun tonight! Yay to free night out!
