  • No snow here but it's been snowing in Suffolk, where I'm going tomorrow.

If it helps, the plane didn't actually go off the runway! It just sort of ended up right at the end of it. Panic not FF.xx

    Money

    PAD/Spends - £119
    Entertainment - £150
Groceries - £164.50 (waiting for Costco money to debit)
    Purse - £26
Outstanding debt - £144.12 + wildly fluctuating credit card

The credit card is sitting at around £290 today but I have also paid £100 to it and there is an expenses claim due to hit my account in the next couple of days too which will reduce it yet further. It's hard to know with the credit card how much of it is my debt and how much is the vast amounts I'm running up in work expenses which then get repaid! I think that my best plan will be to fully repay it this week when I get the rent money in and then I'll be able to track it from zero and repay it in full every month.

    Snow update

Tis now nearly to the tops of my wellies in my street  and we're right in the city, so what it's like in the outlying areas I don't know. Edinburgh Airport is currently closed, so I suspect they won't deal with my flight as priority when it opens, but will still have to pack before I go to work. I'm not taking my suitcase with me though - if the flight goes ahead I'll pop home to pick up my stuff then get a taxi/bus to the airport.

This shows the volume of snow on the mighty Scrapsmobile this morning before Mr Fresian cleared it. Eep!

We haven't had snow like that down here in years, I can remember when I was about 6 sinking in a snow drift up to my waist. back then I thought it was great fun - now I'd just think how cold it was

    Stay safe x

This is definitely more than we had last year during the Freeze of Doom (Phrase is copyrighted to panicking Southern newsreaders :D) but so far it's not too icy so it's ok to walk in!

Wow, Fresian - that's some impressive snow! Just as well your cat has some grey bits else you wouldn't be able to see him in the snow when he's that deep in it!
Hope you are nice and snuggly-warm. :coffee:

Do you know if any more is expected?
