Yeah they stopped sending out the freebie gifts to subscribers. I am also on the 3 mags for £1 deal which rns out this month. Not sure why they don't send the gifts, surely they must lose out on customers that way?
I totally agree.
To me subscribers are the custom they can rely on, as clearly we will have each months issue, regardless of holidays, illness or not feeling inspired by that months cover. Then they tell us we are unimportant to them, by depriving their loyal customer base of the cover gifts!
Thats how I felt with She, so I stopped subscribing and rarely buy a copy now. I used to subscribe to Marie Claire as well and I'm pretty sure they stopped sending cover gifts towards the end of my year and thats partly why I didn't continue.
3 magazines for £1 is a good deal and for that reason I took out the 3 months sub, but I won't be continuing with it.So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try

I took out the 3 for £1 deal too and now I have a good excuse for not renewing the sub! I'm not too bothered about the freebie TBH. However, if I'd paid full price for the subscription I would be most annoyed!0 -
Just to say, for those frustrated about subscribers being deprived of free gifts, GLAMOUR DO SEND FREE GIFTS TO SUBSCRIBERS! But you dont get to choose your gift that way.. however, for £2 an issue I agree its worth buying the mag for the freebie - I personally love Benefit makeup, and have bought the mag again in the past purely for the free gift, as a cheap way of buying prezzies for friends too.Glamour June 2010

Alsok, for info, Easy Living send cover gifts to subscribers - I got my copy yesterday with a Cath Kidson shopping bag - and this was from a sub offer that was 5 issues for £5 with free gift! So have done pretty well so far!0 -

Also next month's Marie Claire has free Cowshed bath/shower gel. Choice of six fragrances - grumpy cow, lazy cow, wild cow, moody cow, horny cow and knackered cow.
It's out on June 10th - same day as Glamour - so that will be a busy magazine day! :j0
