Halifax reward and BOS reward accounts

Just recently opened three Halifax reward accounts so should soon be regularly collecting three free fivers a month :D
Does anybody know if it's possible to open further reward accounts with BOS and collect more free fivers?

No, it's not possible. And if recent means accounts opened since early December then you cannot have three Halifax rewards accounts either - just one in your own name and one joint account.

No. I have had my BOS reward closed after a "review" as I was told because I exceeded the no of a/c allowed i.e.total 3.

It is possible to have 3 a/cs with your name:
    1. sole
    2. you as the first applicant in joint a/c
    3. you as the second applicant in a joint a/c

So between 2 people, a total of 4 a/cs are possible!

    No.
The current T+Cs allow one sole and one joint account.
It makes no difference if you are the first or second appplicant.
Its possible that the HBOS system doesn't catch the opening of the excess accounts but they are not allowed under the T+Cs.

Recently means this month, all three accounts are up and running, cards and pins issued. Tried to open 4 but the 4th account was put under review and then refused.

There's not been any mention (on MSE) of how HBOS are going to screen for this, but I wouldn't be surprised if they change two of those three to the standard Current Account or even close two. I'm sure I read on here people trying to play the old three Reward condition by opening three accounts with Bank of Scotland, and another three with Halifax - suffice to say, HBOS clock on, and closed the surplus accounts. If there's not an automated screening process, it may simply take a clued up member of staff when visiting branch or calling Telephone Banking to notice that you're in breach of the Terms & Conditions.
Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.
