Cashbackkings have rejected a transaction AWARDED 18 months ago

This is a vent and a warning. Cashbackkings have just this week rejected a transaction awarded (£15) and paid out in March 2008. This means that my next £15 of cashback gets eaten up by paying this "debt" to them. This is pretty disgusting as I have a couple of large payments pending and what is to stop them from rejecting more ancient transactions in order to prevent me cashing out?
I put in a query when I noticed the discrepancy in my pending/awarded/available totals, but have just been told that an awarded and paid transaction from March 2008 has just been rejected and that the next £15 awarded will be taken to balance my account. The query was then "closed".
Please think twice before signing up with or recommending this shoddy and underhand website - that goes for mse too.

This is absolutely disgusting. I always remember that Rpoints has the motto that once the money hit your bank account it was yours. Perhaps that isn't the case anymore?
In any case, why would they have awarded the cashback in the first place? Surely once they've received commission, the retailer can't take it back from them?
I'd advise you to get yourself out of there asap, but an email to Mr Yendall probably wouldn't go amiss.0 -
Done the email and another query. Stopping everything else with CBK and rpoints and will withdraw any pending transactions that clear the minute I can. I've become increasingly disappointed with their performance and methods over the past year or so, but this finally takes the biscuit. Thanks Brucey. On a mission.0

Is that the only method by which members can communicate to the current owner of Rpoints/Cashback Kings. :rolleyes:0 -
Cant believe it - I bought OH an iphone from mobiles.co.uk going through greasypalm, it showed as 0.00 or 0.01 or something for ages - as it said it would, but now has completely disappeard - when I try to submit a ticket it states that I didnt go through greasypalm...I did....it was showing on my bliming account for weeks!!! So no £55 cashback - and closing my account for good!'It is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else's life with perfection' Elizabeth Gilbert.

For future, I take frequent screen shots (hover the mouse over the time at the bottom right hand corner to get the date as well) then press alt printscreen. save it under the date you took the shot.
This has helped me on a few occasions with top cash back when an amount due to go through suddenly, the day before, drops down a few pounds.... mystery to them (yeah right!) however, as I could prove it they awarded the correct money to me immediately.0 -
I had this with Rpoints, my account went to -£26, I did post it in their forum...it was sorted after week or so and all put back...0
