Clicking a link

If you look in the top right hand corner of a post you will see a number, in the case of my post its 2, click on that and it comes up in its own window so you can then copy and paste that link so then clicking on the link will take you direct to the post.

Another little tip when you see a link like this and it opens in its own window you will find that the thread title is in the top right hand corner and its a clickable link which takes you back into the whole thread

Oh and it also means if you want to print a post click that number then use the "print screen" button on your keyboard and you only get that post printed out.

If you want to link to a particular post whilie it's still in its place in a thread...


If you click on the #3 at the top-right of petedp's post above, you'll see that it's url ends in html?p=764779&postcount=3

764779 is the post number.

If you write:

[post=764779 ]Click here[ /post] (with no spaces)

It makes this link:

[post=764779]Click here[/post]
