Hi all,who do i contact to find out why 12 months ago my phone line was capable of 8mb broadband but now apparently its only capable of 512k?I find this ridiculous as i`m only a mile from the exchange in the biggest town in North Wales,Wrexham!

I`m with aol and as i say i signed up for 8mb probably about a year ago....i moaned at the time because i was only getting about 2mb,anyway after a lot of fussing a bt engineer came out and measured 4mb coming into the house.......recently my speeds have been crap and ive had a lot of disconnections so i`ve been looking to move isp,most of them have a section where you can test 2 see what speeds you could get by entering your phone number and all of them have said 512k!I`ve got one pc plugged into a router and the only other thing plugged in is the phone...tried 3 diferent filters and still rubbish speeds....and as i say i live no more than a mile from the exchange.A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.
