Hi there
I have a new laptop and cant seem to key in a pound sign - all I get is ####. Any ideas? Ive gone into langauge settings in the control panel and selected english, but I still cant type a pound sign unless Im n Word.
Any help/advice would be appreciated!:rolleyes:

Could you confirm you have set your keyboard to United Kingdom under:
Start..Control Panel..Regional and Language Options..Languages Tab..Details, then in the installed services frame it says Keyboard . United Kingdom?0 -

when i go to the details it shows default input language as English (United kingdom) - United Kingdom, and insalled services shows keyboard with three subcategories - United Kingdom, United Kingdom Extended and US.
Any clearer (it isnt to me
