    JUst back from lakeside!

Got a botanics set in a basket and the last two body waffles, so managed to pick up 3 body butters too.

Also did the no7 thing - got a glossy locks hair spritz and firm your body balm (BOGOF) and a pack of the no7 wipes, and used the £5 voucher.

    VEry happy trip :-)

Lots of stuff still left in the 75% sale.

Also picked up the lose weight little leaflet and took out the 50p voucher for 50p off shapers sarnies/wraps.

Apologies if this has already been answered, but does anyone know if the £5 vouchers work with the Jemma Kidd makeup applicators? I tried to use one to get some Ruby & Millie foundation sponges yesterday only to be told they're only valid against skincare and makeup. TBH I don't really need any more makeup or skincare, so I'm not really sure what I'll use my two vouchers for at this rate! Any suggestions as to what the best grabbit is with these vouchers? I'm really disappointed as so far I haven't seen any stores that've had the cheap Botanics things, I'm in awe of the hardcore Bootsers!
    2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j
  • Just back Bootsing and am very happy with my haul especially as they have reduced some of the Botanics range which I would have bought regardless of the moisturiser offer.

    I bought:

    Body souffle reduced to £2.49
Overnight foot cream reduced to £1.70
Facial Smoothing Facial Serum " "£2.99
    Nightime facial oil treatment " " £2.49
    Eye serum " "£2.00

    and got for free:
    Night shift moisturiser
    Body Butter
    Golden glow facial
    Moisturising eye cream
    Facial Defence Moisturiser

    Part payment with vouchers:
    £5 vchr - No7 heated eye lash curler £0.99
£3vchr -John Frieda hair serum £0.30

I used the 100pts vchr and split it into two sales to get two vouchers. SA was very helpful.

    Total Cost £12.96
Total savings £43.96 (which doesn't include the discount on the reduced items!). Unfortunately they hadn't put up the No7 sun range yet or that would have been hit hard too, but there is always tomorrow......

Store was at Straiton, Edinburgh if anyone is interested!

£5 vouchers work with No7 heated curlers and the secret hair trimmer which are both £5.99 so you pay 99p.

Also work with No7 pedicure kit and the facial toner which are £4.99 so Free with voucher.

    Hope this helps you liz545

Liz545 i did use a £5 voucher the other day on some Jemma Kidd brushes, but it didnt go through right and the sa had to get a manager to override it, but they still let it go through. But find a nice sa to serve you, and you should be ok.

I used another voucher on the No.7 electrical stuff today, which went through with no problems, so if anyone gets a grumpy sa who says they cant be used, get them told!
  • Good trip to Boots today.
    2 x No7 Lip/Eye shimmer £5.50 each BOGOF
No7 Nail Varnish £6 342 in conjunction with above offer
2 packs Boots own wipes BOGOF £1.99
Botanics shave gel reduced to £1.35 + free Mens moisturiser £5.50
Trevor Sorbie male grooming hair wax reduced from £5.99 to £2.99 so free with the £3 voucher,
also used to £5 No7 voucher oh yeah and a packet of crisps with a half price voucher out of the ACM. so total to pay was £4.50! quite embarrassing really when it doesn't even cover the cost of a single No7 item! Altogether saved£27.65
There were no signs for BOGOF on No7 suncare advertised either in my store!

Does anyone know if no7 reduced items (specifically the Shimmer Dust) works as 3for2, and can be paid for with the £5 voucher? I looked in today, (planning what I'm going to buy tomorrow when I have more time!) and they had none of the purple gift bags left, but loads of those shimmer things which looked nice.
    Thanks!

I rang Boots today to ask about the Yardley
free gift offer. She checked with the supervisers
who said that usualy on the display they always
list the exclusions on the display. If none are
shown then there are none,so yes you can buy
gift sets and have a free gift.

they reckon that this offer will not be shown
online until the end of the month.
I first saw this offer online and went into
our local Boots to see what the freebies
actualy were.they also seemed to think that
this offer is not fully operational yet which
might explain the problems people have had
getting this to go through the tills.

But the final words on this were .....

if theres no exclusions then you are entitled to
the free gift for any Yardley lavender product
So long as its the lavender range does not apply
to any of the other scents in the range

So I got my free towel on a gift set who
feels like going in to argue the toss ?
  • Another great haul from Boots Purley Way....

3 x Hair products for under £2.50 using £3 vouchers (split into 3 different transactions)
No 7 foundation for £4 instead of £9. Okay, this was a cash splurge for me, but I do like this stuff, and I will obviously need a slighter darker shade for summer when i have a bit of a tan, so decided to treat myself! :p
Botanics foundation for £1 reduced in the sale and got a free eye cream (worth £6.99!!!) Darn, forgot the 100 points voucher in the mag :o
And finally I got my little mitts on the lipstick-design No7 bag full of goodies with a voucher for £1.50 :T Been after one of these for ages (well, since I started this mad Bootsing thing last week!!) so chuffed to bits.

No signs for BOGOF on No7 suncare, and when I asked the SA said they were'nt doing the offer. But as they only had about 4 items left anyway (and none of it the cheaper stuff that works well on the BOGOF + 342 + voucher deal) I wasnt too dissappointed!
2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead :D

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Today my boyfriend came shopping with me. I left him drinking coffee in Costa's and went to Boots - came back with a bag full of stuff and he said "how much did that cost"? "Effectively 50p" I replied, to which he responded "DO you actually ever pay for anything"? :rotfl: (not if I can help it!)

Snow angel get your boyfriend toi ask for a Costa coffee card
next time he is in there, tell him to put some money on it £2
go onto the Costa web site register the number on the card and
they will add £2 free.So then his card will be worth £4 to
spend in any Costa coffee bar.Enough to get him a nice
coffee and a cake while you shop.

If your saving in Boots theres no good reason
not to save on coffee too while your at it.In fact
    have one each save more.
