When I opened my outlook last night, I had lots of email in my spam folder
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Delivery to the following recipients failed.
And then followed on each single email an email address from my address book (every one). From postmaster @ mail. hotmail.com (without gaps)
Attached was a document that was fwd: this is unbelievable which I have not opened.
So, I ran my virus check (Mircosoft Security Essentials) and it came up with nothing and I also ran Malwarebytes that also came up with nothing.
It is something I should worry about? No-one in my address book has come back to me yet about odd emails.

Nothing to worry about normally. Ignore them and leave them in your SPAM folder.
Somebody used your email address as sender of SPAM emails and you get the bounces from non existing email accounts...0
