prices may be static for 6-12 months but I suspect within the year they will be either going up or down. Too many speculators around and they will not put up with static prices for any length of time. House prices will be determined by whether we see the 3%+ growth predicted for the next few years. if we do then i suspect prices will rise in line with inflation. If we dont't then for me there will be falls.

Wages are unlikely to match the rate of inflation in the near future. Also a squeeze on disposable income in the next few years has yet to be applied. So this isn't going to be a driver for house prices in the short term.

    The same area?

No, silvercar is from the same area; michaels and vivatifosi live not that far away.

This Dirk Rambo fellow; no idea I'm afraid.

I've made 1 sentance bigger & in bold as it is so important imo.

I've been arguing for some time that disposable income has been very slowly eroded. It is my opinion that this erosion will increase in coming months. Which will cause difficulties for some, & falling consumer demand for many goods.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

You never know with Dirk Rambo, with so much similarities, he could be close enough to be your shadow ;).
He could become a common ally in the discussions we have on here.

I'm surprised you know that silvercar, michaels and vivatifosi are from the same area and it's known on this forum.
Have you in a round about way just disclosed your area?

carolt's location, just like all elements of her 'story' changes like the wind, altered to suit whatever argument she is having or VI she is pushing. I see that apart from being a teacher, owning her own school she is now saying that she had worked her way up to a managerial position before becoming a teacher. All of this was squeezed in around having three children.

What a varied and interesting life she has led, I can't wait for the next instalment of this thrilling work of fiction. :rotfl:
"I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.

I'm from the west midlands, I've no idea where carolt is from. maybe you could enlighten us as you seem to know alot about her

Ah well, carolt is from somewhere around London.

I thought there was a place where "round my way prices were dropping" and a fear of internet stalking from revealing the general area you were from.

You should get in touch with her as you seem to have similar views.

house prices are still falling at a rapid rate in my local area. that isn't stagnation in my book, more like a continuing crash

Had a look on LR at sandwell, the council for West Bromwich.
Doesn't seem to be still falling at a rapid rate
