    Oh God! Just when I have decided to calm myself down in the gold/silver bug - I read this thread and get the 'urgent' feeling again. :o

    I'm thinking of buying some silver coins then backed down!

    Please help - since you seem to know your stuff..is this a good place to buy silver:

    Ok let me tell you what happened today. We went to Hatton Garden near Farringdon this morning and spent the entire morning trying to purchase some precious metal. But banks had trouble transferring any of the funds so was unsuccessful!

    Anyway undeterred we're still going ahead with it later on in the week.

    However, what should we do buy silver or the euivalent in gold?

    Loopgames Im much more bullish about silver than gold as you probably have seen already.

    That place looks alright but I personally buy Silver Maple leafs as they are the purest silver content. You get more silver for your money than say American Eagles.

    Loopgames are you familiar with Ted Butler? This latest interview he talks about the investigation of the silver price suppression. At the end he says when this silver thing blows up they are going to ask why havent the regulators done anything about it sooner.

    It doesnt matter if you are novice or expert, prices are the same.

    Im not going to give one company because I get accused of all sorts of things.

    If you search you will find prices are about the same at all the dealers. At the time of writing the paper price (spot) of silver is about 12.50 oz. But if you want real silver not fools silver (paper promise) the price is about 15 plus VAT.

    If you buy or sell silver in the private market (Ebay/gumtree local paper etc) prices are nearer to 20 oz for well recognised bullion like Maple leafs but there is no VAT in the private market.
