WOW I love all your card making stuff - I could spend hours and hours in places like hobbycraft! I've not bothered making my own cards since Uni though, too much effort! And to be fair, I haven't needed to, I bought 3 boxes of xmas cards on 3 for 2 about 3 years ago and I've still not used them all. I might have to bite the bullet next year though. 3 boxes was 120 cards, who sends that many in a year??
(or maybe I'm just a billy no mates haha):rotfl:
When I made them I used PVA glue and get a couple of cheapy paintbrushes for precision application, and *cool tip alert* basic eyeshadow sponges (like the ones you get in when you buy them) are good for getting a nice thin layer of glue over a larger area.
You seem to have been doing plenty of debt busting action, well done you - I've not long bought butter but when I run out I'll get anchor if the codes are still running then.

The postman has brought me:
My new Tesco credit card, hurrah! More points here I come. Today I must call to activate this.
Dull information about shares I hold in my work. My current stock of Andrex is worth more.
My High School Musical trilogyYes, I will be 30 next year. No, I don't give a sh*t that I love this :j Plans to be productive this weekend may have taken a dramatic nosedive...

For those who hadn't seen it, instore cashback is now running on Quidco - you register a card (Credit/debit) and will earn cashback when you shop in-store with certain retailers.
None of them are any use to me at the moment, but one is Cineworld and I am planning on renewing my annual pass with them shortly. That will be £162 for the year and if I get the 4.5% cashback I will get £7.29. I have registered the new shiny Tesco credit card in the hopes of getting points too!

I only buy MAC once or twice a year, so it's my treat and I love it. Wouldn't want to buy anything else

If you have never had credit before you might be ok, just pay it off every month and be really good with it!! Credit cards can be amazing if you have good willpower!

Probably shouldn't say this, but I think Martin's books are a waste of moneyYou get all the tips (and more) from this site...!
anyone know when the ebay listing is lower ?? If you start at 99p you don't get a listing feeNot sure when the next free listing day is but I will post when I find out!
doing really well FF keep up the good work
I have registered my new Tesco card for online banking, and have transferred the money I spent on it today into another account to sit until the bill arrives. No building up of bad debt for me, oh no!
T'other credit card has a smallish balance on it which I'm going to clear next week then close down and I'm planning to close the Barclaycard tomorrow. That way I have less available credit and more importantly less temptation!
I have made a couple of Christmas cards tonight, testing my new craft stuff! They look ok but quite amateur. Practise makes perfect though!

Morning all!
Horrendous nights sleep last night - went to bed at 1am, woke up at 3.15, back to bed at 4.30 and up again at 8.50amI am working on making myself feel human though...
The only benefit of being up so early was that I was awake when my BB bonus cash was paid (4.03am fact-fans!) so pre-purchased some games and went to bed. I woke up £3 richer
I have requested a withdrawal, so that should be with me sometime next week. I haven't had the luck others have had with BB but the free money has been a nice wee sideline for me!
Due to being exhausted I have no real plans, but a vague to-do list is...
- Wrap remaining Christmas/birthday presents for people
- Check if Ebay folk have paid and post parcels if so
- More sodding washing
- Clear Washing Mountain (I didn't do this yesterday, so it's going on the To Do List until it's done!)
- Watch a sh*te movie
- Make roast chicken dinner...om nom nom!
