I had a payment pending for next in similar circumstances, the only way to drop the pending status is for toys r us to fax ur bank back office and the hold will drop xxx

Thanks for confirming that. This is exactly what PAYPAL and Sarnd have said. I have emailed Toysrus again with a copy. I will start off quite firm and polite.......................but it won't last long that way. I don't see why they should freeze £200 of my cash for a month.

    Cheers

Im not hamster hunting, NO WAY will i be there that early, i have a hospital appointment at 3pm and a few bits of furniture to pick up that i won on ebay, thought i might pop into TRU to see what other toys are on offer. I struggle to find what im NOT looking for on the web. :rotfl:

  • I too spoke to TRU yesterday. The first lady I spoke to said I need to speak to Paypal, Paypal when I spoke to them said it was up to TRU there was nothing they could do.

The 2nd person I spoke to at TRU WAS helpful and said that it was their responsibility........and the money would `fall back` into my Paypal account within the next 7 days...........

I will be interested to hear what happens when you do get to speak to them, as they seriously need to improve their customer relations.......I was going to get both my kids xmas stuff in one hit from TRU, but not any more. Good luck!

Thread is moving so quickly I'm not sure if anyone has said this yet....but this is for all those people with pending paypal payments to toysrus.

I contacted tru who, as we all know, are a bit of a waste of space as far as this problem is concerned, they told me it was a paypal issue and paypal would need to remove the hold.

As I posted before I have been having increasingly angry emails with TRU and have finally received an email giving a direct line for someone saying he is a manager for me to ring and discuss my "problem" or I can email him my number. Off work tomorrow so I'll see if I can get anywhere and let you know.

apols, I was speed reading  I prefer the Govan one because its literally sitting on the M8, dead easy to get to, but the Parkhead one has better shops nearby :D
