Hello, I'm completing on buying a house this week and have been looking at which energy provider to use. I read somewhere that I need to hook up with whichever provider is currently in the house, then I can begin the process of switching.

Does anyone know a way of finding out the provider of a property? Is there a site which will do this?

    we are in a similar situation. if the information i have been given is correct, you need the serial numbers off the meters, then phone 08456013268 for electric supplier and 08706081524 for gas. if you cant get info on above numbers try 08712250123.
