I forgot the forum updates last night and felt quite freaked when I came on and couldn't post. Although I did read the other posts instead. Funny how lonely I felt when I've been off the list so much recently but it was ok because I knew you were all here 'waiting' for me. Err, probably just me then.

    Hi Wanna bee free.
Are you sure you were AF last night.

I thought forum updates were TONIGHT.:confused::rotfl:

Glad to see you back BHB.Good luck with the giving up AGAIN:rotfl:

:T:TWell done to everyone else doing so well this month.

  • Good morning
Signing in to report an AF day yesterday fay.

I felt quite traumatised when I saw Lurkio's picture, I thought it was a mutant hotdog . Thanks honeybear for telling us it's a humbug. I'm with L on the C word though, mid November is quite early enough to start preparations (mind you with all the postal strikes I may have to start a little earlier this year). Tree and decorations are definitely not going up before 19 December though. When I was a little girl my dad would collect the tree on Christmas Eve. In those days trees shed their needles so quickly that if you had it up too early they would be bald by Christmas Day!

    Have a good day everyone.

I've lost count of where I am AF, better check what it says on my siggy as that is uptodate.

Still coming to terms with the fallout of end of relationship and still trying hard not to drink to cope. Only one evening with 2 glasses of ginger wine out of 6 days so not too bad overall
final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333

Hello! Finding it really hard to get on here lately, or do anyhing else online - never any time. I'm all behind (another dietary failure....). I've not been in here for 3 days & it's all humbugs & pickled eggs! Funnily enough I had a pickled egg in a bag of salt & vinegar crisps last night nom nom, must confess washed down by ? pints of lager. I wonder why I've not lost any weight?

Anyway just popping in to say hi, am managing to read most of it even when not posting :D

Morning all, watched that programme on iplayer last night, I found it very interesting as I like stuff like that and it did throw up some interesting questions..

Am happy to join in with the mon-wed 72 hr challenge next week...dh and I are planning to stay af tomorrow when my Mum and Dad are here, will see how that goes as I know my mum will down a bottle of wine for sure..but if dh does it I think I can...then we will have some on Saturday...

Glad it wasn't only me that couldn't work out the pic of the humbug initially :p

Hugs to FUAS you are doing really well considering all that is going on with you..well done :T

Fay thanks for doing such a great scoring job so far...its lovely to see my stars :D

Miss P I am exhausted just reading about all your exercise! I really must do something myself but my energy levels are terrible lately..

    Hi all,

I was out with some friends last night so was not an AF day. I had 4 units (2 glasses of wine). I have decided to record my units per week in my signature too.:D to make sure I don't drink too much when I do have a non AFD.

Pretty scary going through the next few days tbh, Thursday, Friday & Saturday are associated with alcohol in my mind:o How sad is that!

    Anyhoo,

    u105_good_luck.jpg

for the next couple of days!
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
