On more than one occasion now and when I try and log into my MSE account I get the following:
Wrong username or password. You have used up your failed login quota! Please wait 15 minutes before trying again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here!
It is impossible that I have put the wrong login credentials as they are put in automatically by LastPass. In addition as this error message is occuring from the first attempt to log in, this suggests that the attempts to breach the account occurred prior to me trying to log in. I have also tried to put the details manually on other occasions and got the same response.
I have seen it mentioned on another thread that other people reported the same problem but it isn't at all clear as to whether this serious problem is taken seriously by any of the site administrators. Could someone please shed some light on what the heck is happening here

Hey,
Just to confirm what has been happening here. Recently we switched on the function that checks for repeated failed logons.
However, the code had a slight mistake in it which meant not all criteria were being checked properly. Thus there was a chance if someone else failed with there logon it may have affected you even with a completely separate username.
This issue has should now been patched and you should no longer see this error message.

Unfortunately this happened again at 4:11 PM and this time I also received the warning email with the offending IP address. If we are getting these IP addresses then I can't get why this matter could not be investigated further and the offending people barred from the site?Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0

This, I hope is good news that the problem is now hopefully resolved although I still see apparent attempts to log into other user accounts as something quite worrying. hope however, that it was nothing more than a system glitch.I've had the same email re attempted log in to my account, twice this morning.
