Off to Turkey for 2 weeks in a week's time so I'm sure they're going to miss me. Meanwhile, got a week to stock up on sun cream, aftersun, mags, bikinis, oh and this week's food for a family of four. No wonder they're getting sick of me. xx

have a great time in turkey, I love it over there, and I'm sure they will miss you, we moc users must be well known in the stores we use,
so eat, drink and make merry whilst you are away, party-067.gif

Thanks to the info from Dr Who-Who( I think) I got 75p off large Surf yesterday,on offer at the moment in Mr T's...now only £3.50...would have been nice to have been able to print/use 2...but was a good buy at £2.75....sorry it's already been posted miss-piggin, but keep on looking.I googled all products advertised in yesterdays paper in the hope of finding a moc that tied in with new advertising campaign, but no luck.( but did find ad for new control thingy for AGA cookers that my son really appreciated)..the Horlicks worked last week...worth registering and getting the moc....you never know there just might be a Finish replacement lurking somewhere !! As MM says...fingers, toes and eyes crossed...

I now this doesn't state the full policy but it does mention Terry Leahy which may carry some weight with Old Trouts/Supervisors ( always assuming they know who he is:D

Thank you for your email addressed to Sir Terry Leahy, our Chief Executive to which I have been asked to reply.

I can confirm that we do accept internet coupons, however the following conditions must be met:

    • Customers can use branded coupons without buying the product if Tesco stock the product and the coupon is in date.

    • Only one branded coupon can be accepted per item not purchased.

    • If two of the same branded coupon is presented, the customer needs to have bought one of the products.

    • We do accept conditional spend coupons from competitors e.g. £3.00 off when you spend £30:00 or more.

    • Photocopied coupons will not be accepted.

I hope this clarifies our policy for you. However, if I can be of any further help, please do not hesitate to contact me again.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to contact us.

    Kind Regards

    Denise Elder
    Customer Service Executive

below the reply is the actual question i asked

    Dear Sir Terry,

Please could you clarify exactly what sort of internet coupons Tesco's accept as complimentary coupons.

Are they the ones that can be printed off the internet, e.g. coupon safe or £2 off Finish dishwasher tablets etc. or are there any restrictions to the type of internet coupons that can be used

and this is the email I sent it to originally Terry.Leahy@uk.tesco.com

Many thanks for posting this, victoriajj. :T:T

I do like to carry a version of the policy with a recent date, so they can't claim the policy has changed. You never quite know when a surprise trouting-attempt may be sprung on you by a new supervisor; I like to be ready to educate them just in case. :D

thanks so much for sharing your letter with us, I have taken a copy just in case I get "trouted" at some point. we need to educate the sa's at all stores that we are not the bad couponers, we are in fact paying their wages, with Sir Terrys blessings, but how many will still argue, bout time they started to respect their bosses rules and regs, rant over, we can say this any which way round and it means the same to us, but sadly not the trouts. shark.gif (nearest I cud find to a trout)

whoops I keep getting a message telling me my message is too short, have l got a sarcastic computor :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Typed out a long post but keeps saying message too short, filled the entire page aaargh :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Just trying to say that the current policy they send from customers services states that manager can only refuse coupons IF he suspects coupon abuse. You should see some supervisors back down if you ask them if they are accusing you of coupon abuse:rotfl:
