Anyone heard of "Best Conveyancing Quotes"

Too good prices to be true?

I compared that to a list of quotes from Yorkshire BS and found those to hover around £700. Anyone used them before? Are they trustworthy?

  • Actually I used BestConveyancingQuotes, they are part of a bigger company called Wolstenholmes Solicitors. They carried out my HIP together with the conveyancing for the sale and purchase. Anthony Danvers handled my case, he was one of the most professional people I have had dealings with in a long time. The service was excellent, and he responded to any questions I had promptly and efficiently. Best of all is the price, no hidden charges, I would happily recommend them to anyone without any reservations. Hope this helps

    Hi cakinwande,

As I said before in a previous thread, if anyone still has an ongoing problem with Wolstenholmes please PM me details and I will try my best to get it resolved asap.

I'd like to stress again that we do take complaints very seriously and although you may not see it, behind the scenes we're working really hard to put processes in place and correct any past mistakes.

    Thanks,

    Nazma

***I no longer work for Wolstenholmes so can no longer help with any complaints...thanks to all that PM-ed me and good luck to anyone with an ongoing issue***

Unfortunately, as you know, you are being bad mouthed on the internet and that is bad publicity that it is going to be very hard to overcome no matter what improvements you make.:o

Too right! The damage is done, you can't run a legal service this. If you made more of an effort to treat your customers right when they were your customers, this wouldnt be happening. Its bad enough your own staff have started bad mouthing too!
  • "reap what you sow..."

Oh my god, I can't believe you are posting on here - I know (because I looked into it and asked in the Manchester office that doesn't exist) and I know that you work for them. That is just wrong but not surprising given how you treated my mother. I cannot believe you would take advantage of an elderly woman like that.
  • Do not use this firm, they dont respond to communication. They do not have documents that my vendors solicitor sent over a month ago. I can never speak to anyone. Its a nightmare.
