I have a list made up of our favourite dinners which I pick from to make up our meal planner, I was wondering if anybody would like to list theirs as well. It might help us be inspired for our meal planning!
Roast Dinner
HM Meatballs and Spagetti or chips
Lasagna HM
Toad in the hole
Egg, Ham and Chips
Shepherd Pie
Salad (this one is used alot in our house)
Stir Fry
Turkey Drummers (completely obsessed with this fat and salt packed goodies)
Sausages and Mash
Spagetti Cabonara
Baked Potatoes and Tuna
Chicken Korma
Ceaser Salad
Bagettes with stuff in them!
I try to use up stuff that I have in the freezer or fridge first then pick from the list.
We have a weekly meal plan thread, so I'll add this to this week's thread, so that you can see what other Old Stylers eat
Do a title search on MealPlans and you'll find the older threads.

next week I have a friend coming to stay who is on WW, so I have made my plan accordingly from Monday onwards. Here goes.
Friday - tortellini in HM stock, cesar salad with marinated anchovies
Saturday - (camper van trip) barbecued pork and macaroni salad
Sunday - not sure yet, depending what time we get back home - something quick like fried eggs with tomato and chorizo, or beans on toast;
Monday - lamb steaks on barbecue with orange/chick pea couscous, green salad
Tuesday - lunch: jacket potato with tomato salsa; dinner: roasted vegetables with goat's cheese
Wednesday - lunch: polenta pizza; dinner: lapin chasseur, courgettes in beetroot sauce, summer fruit pudding
Thursday - lunch: baked courgettes with blue cheese filling, dinner: out to a restaurant.
Friday - friend will have left. If we have really stuck to the low-fat plan, we'll celebrate with something greasy......

Do you fancy sharing your HM coleslaw recipe please Pen Pin? I usually end up with enough to feed the entire street or it's too vinegary IYSWIM. Any advice re quantities is much appreciated thanks
Sure hun! This is thanks to MrsMcw:D
Shredded cabbage (red or white)
Shredded Carrots
Shredded Onion (add how much you want-I like quite alot)
Then add a small amount of mayo at a time until its all thinly coated (this will depend on how much you have shredded;))...then I add a couple of small squirts of salad cream. Add salt & pepper....Voila!
The combi of the mayo and salad cream is perfect and gives sweet, creamy and tangy IYSWIM.
If you make too much, I have eaten the next day keeping in the fridge.
For the 3 of us, I do 1 carrot, third of cabbage and whole onion.

Thanks for sharing the recipe Penny :T I appreciate the quantities too as only DH, myself & DS1 actually eat it so I'll follow your amounts. I never thought to put a mixture of mayo & salad cream in that'll definitely stop it tasting vinegary0
