Are the last four numbers (apart from the end number) of the barcode 0000?0 -

the full bar code is 9915301430009
That means that the SA will have to input the price manually, so depending which SA you get, sometimes they will just put a price in, but more often than not (in my opinion) you have to buy the actual proudct so that they know the exact price to put in.
Others may know different, but that is just what i have found out,
Hope that helps..0 -

You will have to buy it so they can input the price.
If it had been 9915301430499 it would be 49p off, or 9915301431019 would be £1.01 off.
You go by the 3 digits before the last one.
In this case - 9915301430009 - three 0's needs a price input.0 -
Got refused today with both cif and the goodness shakes because they wouldn't scan. Apparently tesco don't get money back for those that don't scan. So i called Dundee to be told that yes they prefer them to scan but if they dont, thats ok, they can be input manually. I have asked for some kind of confirmation of this so that i can prove what ive been told. Unfortunately i was then told that it is down to the stores discretion as to how they accept them.

Did they try the small hand scanner - that usually works. Also, make sure the total up before scanning them. Some sneaky staff dont press the total button, so that coupons don't scan.
Failing that, ensure that your printer is on the highest setting, and try an allignment test to make sure its correctly set up.
They should type in the code if it doesnt scan, but since i got a new printer - everything has scanned for me - although they sometimes need to use the hand scanner for the non-couponet ones.0 -

find it on Tesco.com and print a screenshot of it to take in to prove the correct price, you shouldn't need to buy it.AKA: PC

They did try with the hand scanner and still didnt work, que was building up so i think the SA got a bit flummoxed. Ive tried everything i can with the printer now.oakley123:p0 -
