If you find him in less then four seconds, the right side of your brain is very sharp. If you need between four seconds and one minute, then the right side of your brain is about normal. If it takes you more then one minute, then the right side of your brain is operating below average and you need to drink more quality gourmet coffee. Now, if you haven't found his face after an hour or more the right side of your brain is a total train wreck and you might need some counseling for feeling like you must beat the picture.
For those who cant find him (clue he's the size of one of the beans) I'll post the answer at midnight.
The right side of my brain is very sharp as I found him almost immediately!!Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -
Its becoming ridiculous at my local Tesco Store in Notts. For some time now they only accept 5 coupons, but NOT internet, per day.
Today, I handed over 5 coupons, one being a £3.28 Nescafe Gusto received via the post which expires tomorrow.
The SA, who regularly accepted coupons without fuss in the past, said you must buy the product due to the high value of the coupon. I said 'What!, this in new to me, what is the individual value limit for coupon acceptance without buying the product. Is it £1, £2, or £3.?' She couldn't answer, but accepted it 'just this once'.
I think they make it up as they go along!
I wish all stores would sing from the same hymn sheet!0 -
What amazes me is, as has been said before, they act as though it is their money, had a bit of an Old Trout moment the other day, the sa hated me paying with valid mocs the bill went from £7 odd to just a few pennies, and then I got 2 till spits, should of seen her face, it was classic.:D0

Which store? Can't you try another? Tesco at Toton is fine, whereas Ilkeston won't take any internet. It might be worth travelling a little further to save £££. Why not take a copy of the policy with you and tell them (very politely) that they are mistaken and that you wish to use within the rules.Ageing is inevitable - maturing is optional0 -
To the top peeps in charge of the top pages!:
One of the most useful tips from this thread for me personally has been the Nestle Picapac (£2 worth of non-internet mocs in each £1.19 pack). The thread is so long I can't find who it was who originally spotted and posted it, but whoever you are - thank you.
I've bought LOADS (Nov and Dec use-by dates have the vouchers and you can see the black dotted line round the base of the moc if you pull the cellophane down slightly on the packet before purchase).
Basically you are being paid 10p per serving! Free breakfast for months and months for the whole family. Mocs are valid til 2011.
So, my point is - do you think it would be a good idea to have a section on the top page for mocs inside purchased goods such as this? I've looked and can't find it, though I am a bit daft so maybe I've missed it.Ageing is inevitable - maturing is optional0 -

Newspaper thread tis wrong it is NOT tesco with these. big bit of coupon is wording please redeem only at your local independent retailer  Still not bad, especially if you eat crisps and you T's has em.
p.s. just checked on newspaper thread and some are using in T's but had this discussion before and personally am going to stick with the majority from last time and not use!0 -
Had a good shop...met a friend who was shopping and told her to get the Sun, thats when we spotted assistant manager and asked about the independent store ones(which he said are a no-no and I'm not risking spoiling it)stood there cutting out the coupons and chatting and he waited while we cut out the 2 for the crisps and then he went and got them for us....friend used over £15 worth , most she has ever used in 1 go....and I used £25.65 against a £41 shop...tried to spend just £30 but had found a coupon for £1 of £5 frozen food that someone had discarded , and was in last aisle before checking out,so got 6 packs of Magnums...and they are all the ones with the comp on them., on offer at 99p , then lost count of my adding up but knew it was over £30 and couldn't be bothered putting stuff back...suppose I could have put the Pikapaks back but another £6 mocs is better than a poke in the eye....very pleased' bully' today as £25.65 is my record total of mocs in 1 shop, it was 29 coupons plus all the Sun ones(5?)....was so busy making sure I got the Sun forgot hubbys Telegraph!!!Def not going back for it...going to eat a Magnum and see if I can win some cash....0

You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
If you use the "search this thread" button at the top of the page, you may find it's been answered already!;)0 -
I've just spent the ENTIRE morning (it's lucky I'm not busy here at work, eh?) doing the next month's menu plans for the family, finding interesting meals (salmon and leeks in filo pastry! spice-crusted tuna with coconut, leek and ginger sauce! pork chops with celeriac mash, apple and ale gravy!), printing the recipes, compiling the shopping lists to go with them, splitting those into small daily chunks to get the best MOC value per day, then sorting all available MOCs into separate envelopes marked with the amount. It's like a flippin' full time job!
I have done so well (thanks to all the lovely people on here, sharing where to find MOCs) and saved so much money over the past few months that I am going to invest £100 in some premium bondsI've never won a penny on them before, but you never know .......
