Hi,

My partner just logged into Halifax website and it showed the following:-

Exclusive Credit Card designed especially for customers like you
As a qualifying customer we are delighted to tell you about an exclusive credit card offer! We’re helping you to get even more value for your money, by offering you an exclusive deal – an additional 3 months interest free on credit card purchases.

This means you get a total of:
• 0% for the first 12 months on purchases.
and
• 0% for 9 months on balance transfers made in the first 90 days (plus 3% fee)

That’s an extra 3 months at 0% on purchases compared to our current All in One credit card online offer. Plus a competitive rate of 15.9% APR typical variable.

Is the pre-approved?

Thanks

I very much doubt it, especially in the current climate. She does qualify for the extra 3 months free though :/

    Cheers, Des.

Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE Forum Team
  • I got the same. Considering I've been a Halifax customer for about 3 weeks I think I'll give it a swerve for now. I can't have a decent internal score just yet.

They aren't a bad thing cos they tempt you to apply, only to get told no! Why bother offering if not pre-approved

LOL... best advice is wait 3mth between HBOS applications or they will instant decline - I should know! 50 bank apps and 20 CC apps :rotfl:
