    Hi Darragh,

just wondered if you have any news on my !!!!!! & AUDIBLE points?

    Cheers

    Nah...

Decided not to credit them to you. Frankly we're getting too many queries from people asking about PiggyPoints, especially on here - (you'd think that was all you were on the site for!) and I've decided now to ignore every second MeSsErs request for PiggyPoints. Isn't it obvious that if you haven't gotten them you did something wrong?

I trust this is acceptable. It's just the luck of the draw I'm afraid.

(EDIT AFTER REACTION: CAN I JUST POINT OUT THAT THIS IS MEANT PURELY TONGUE IN CHEEK?? ALL PIGGYPOINTS DUE HAVE BEEN CREDITED (AND I PM'd HIM TO LET HIM KNOW THAT). SORRY, EXCUSE ME FOR TRYING TO HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOUR, A LITTLE DIVILMENT AND PROVOKING A REACTION!!

on the easy piggy points page it says
"Motley Fool newsletter and earn 50 PiggyPoints!"
i got 100 last night!!!

thats not very fair on people just joining up.

    At the same time...

If there was a TV in my local Dixons for £100 last night, but price had gone up to £150 today, that's not very fair either? Advertising campaigns and prices do change all the time. So anyone who signed up today will get 50 PiggyPoints and anyone before today will get 100...

Has anyone else had problems with the validation text being sent to a mobile phone?

I've just tried to order an Arcadia voucher and it said that the text with the code will be sent within a minute or two. It's been about 15 minutes now and I'm sitting here staring at the validation page waiting. I've checked that my mobile number is correct but still no text.

Hmmm. Some people and networks do experience problems I'm afraid - if you keep having difficulty drop and email to postmaster@pigsback.com and they'll sort you out no problem...

Could anyone tell me if they've had any problems with receiving points from BingoBoudoir? It said I would be credited within 10 days and I'm sure it's been more than that but no points have been credited :(

And a nice way to reply....very rudely. Haven't we recently helped you by giving you our comments on CD-Wow. Perhaps we shouldn't have bothered as this isn't a market research site.

I've noticed the crossword hasn't been altered. What happened Darragh, couldn't you change it?

I imagine pigsback will get a few complaints, I wonder if they'll give out piggypoints as compensation like they did for the offensive "loser" emails

I'm afraid I couldn't - it's the third party software we've brought in, rather than something we have complete control over, and, thankfully, it didn't cause too much offense to our members.

The strange but true fact is that if you search for Whale on somewhere like dictionary.com or m-w.com (Merriam Webster online) you'll get a definition of

a very large person; impressive in size or qualities so theoretically the crossword compiler, whoever they are, is covered!

Not that I'm excusing it mind, just pointing it out...

Been keeping an eye on that myself. Would have thought it wouldn't have been that difficult to change the clue...that way the actual puzzle could be left the same.

Have noticed that after his comment about trying to change it early this morning he has avoided the topic when posting on this thread today.

Not ignoring it at all I'm glad to say - working busily away to try get it changed (along with a lot of other things) but unfortunately it can't be done. Thanks for keeping an eye on me though (someone needs to!)
