Help / Advice / Anything??

Options
HI...

Ive just got in from work to find my mum on the phone to someone, reading her credit card details out to them...

Now she is saying that they are the credit cards "security team", however it doesnt seme very secure to me to ask someone to ring back and give all of their card details over the phone....

Its a debenhams store card, which is run by GE money. Now Ive looked on their website and cant find this number they have given... does anyone know if this is the correct number or can anyone tell me how i would go about finding it out??

the number is :08715225303

And unlike my mum "thats the name they said on the phone" doesnt quite cut it with me... I can answer the phone with "hello im president O'Bama" doesnt make it right....

ANY help would be greatly appreciated

thanks alot Richard

    Hi

this is the GE Money Security No (GE money-debenhams card security dept.).

The local equivalent is: 0113 2202301 try ringing that to get through... They do answer with ge security (i just rung it myself)

To check this go here: http://www.saynoto0870.com/search.php

And type in the number you provided and see what comes up!

Nothing to do with PayPal mate :-)

Except that PayPal credit card may be issued by GE Money (I don't know if it is) but that could explain it, maybe its just the GE Money security number and different companies that brand the card put their name to it i.e. Debenhams Security / Asda Security etc etc :D
