Tiscali Bundle - any good??

Please help!
I can't seem to find any advice in regards to broadband and telephone bundle packages.
I know that the one of the only providers in my area is Tiscali and they seem to offer a bundle for broadband and phone (free land line calls) for £21.99.
This seems really reasonable as I'm already paying £17.99 per month for my broadband alone and at leat £60 per quater for BT.
Does anyone have this bundle - do you recommend it? It seems to be worth it but wanted advice before going ahead.
Any help greatly appreciated!!!!

The telephony part of the Tiscali bundle (2mb BB with 'free' anytime landline calls) is, of course, restricted to calls to UK 01/02 numbers for £4 per month.
However, £4 for all your 01/02 phone calls is equivalent to only 133 calls if you were to make them (for 3p each regardless of duration) using call1899.co.uk so, if you make that number of calls each month, every month, it may well be worthy of consideration.
Don't forget though that your BT bill (for line rental) will still be at least £33 per quarter.
With Talk Talk having recently fired what may well be the opening shot in a BB price war with their 'free' BB offer, now might not be the time to switch (i.e. it may be best to wait a while and see what the others fire back).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
tiscali also do 2mb with free weekend calls for £17.99. its a very good isp, im currently on it and havent experienced any problems:j Smoke me a kipper: I'll be back for breakfast! :j0

Tiscali do unlimited 1mb BB with FREE Weekend Calls to 01/02 numbers for £14.99. If you dont need to have 2mb. then the £7 your save is equivalent to 233 peak and evening 01/02 calls a month on 1899.Would you make that number of calls?
Another point worth considering is that if your away or on Holiday you dont have to pay if you dont use them. But you do if you take 24/7 call bundle.PF.0 -

Just about the worst ISP you could possibly find (although E7even are giving them a good run for their money at the moment.
BTW - that's not just my opinion. Using the ADSLGuide ISP Compare website, a good ISP like Zen scores a rating of 83% for speed, 89% for reliability and 89% for customer service based on the opinion of 2100 users. Meanwhile Tiscali scores 51%, 60% and 46% respectively based on the opinion of 5600 users. That's dire; in fact it's hard to find a worse ISP than Tiscali. See here.
