No Ryanair Email for flight bookings

Options
Booked some flights on Ryanair a couple of weeks ago - didnt notice at the time but i didnt receive an email confirmation - i think it went to my spam box and that gets emptied after 1 week, hence it has probably been deleted automatically.

Does anybody know how I can get this again, or my confirmation number without calling the £1 per minute telephone number?

thanks

  • Have never booked with Ryanair but can you view your bookings online - after logging in?
  • They send out an email with your confirmation number just before you are due to travel saying that you can now check in online, provided you selected online check-in. Make sure that the Ryan Air email address in is your address book and so won't go to your spam box.

The email is headed Ryan Air Travel Itinerary

Sometimes listed on the Bank/Credir card statement that you paid with at the transaction.

When I used to pay by Visa Debit the transactions on the statement used to include the confirmation number. Now that I've got a Visa Electron card to use for Ryanair, the confirmation number is NOT shown on the statement. These days I am always careful to take a copy of the confirmation screen when I make a booking.

If you need to call them, the cheapest way to do it is as follows:
Call their reservation centre in Ireland on +353 1 249 7791
I use a VoIP provider (www.nonoh.net) to call them - cost is virtually nothing.
Ignore all the options on the menu except for "Press 9 (or whatever) for all other enquiries". Select that option, and wait to speak to an advisor.

I had the same problem when I flew a few weeks back - I do admit that I did wonder if not sending emails is a regular trick of RyanAir's so that you have to call the premuin rate number......

As mentioned before, if you did book on a credit card then the confirmation should be on your statement. The confirmation number should just be a mix of letters, about 7 letters long or so, without numbers (hope that makes sense - mine was a bit garbled on my CC statement!).

If you do end up ringing the telephone number then you'll find that it's not too bad once you get through to a real person - make sure you select the option to speak to an operator else you'll end up listening to a recorded voice read out a list of FAQs and then it hangs up!

This has happened to me many times and it's a real chore to sort out even when you get the RA ref as the last 6 characters of the credit card ref on your CC bill. I no longer rely on the RA email.

If all else fails you can just turn up at the airport on the day and smile at the check-in girl, she has the ref on a list in front of her. You will almost certainly have to pay the airport check-in fee but you will be able to print the return online checkin ticket yourself of you wish.

I recently booked 3 destinations with Ryanair but have only received 2 email confirmations, luckily I printed the details at the time of booking and they have taken three payments from my account, so maybe its a Ryanair glich, lets hope so.
