Can you elaborate a wee bit more? What exactly did it use to say?
Word-for-word on 3rd Jan 2006 in under the 'move money help' tab it said:
    Debit card
The debit card payment will be taken from your debit card account on the day you make the request. The payment will show on your Egg Money recent transactions on the next working day, providing you make your request before 2pm on a working day.
whereas it now states (accurately) that:
    Debit card
This payment will be applied to your Egg Money account within three working days if you make the request before 2pm on a working day. Otherwise it will be applied within four working days

I have both the Egg green and Egg Money card. February is my 0% anniversary month for the Egg green card and I am intending to to stooze and continue to use Egg Money for purchases.

Question: are these cards treated completely separately? I am presuming that payments to Egg Money clear the Egg Money balance and dto for the Egg green card.

    Answer: Yes
  • Look out for this on your EGG balance transfer. Whilst the transfer is at the promotional rate the "FEE" is charged as a merchandise item and incurrs interest at the standard rate. You have no option to pay the fee upfront, and there is no information in the conditions of use.

The anniversary BT is free of charge, which was confirmed to me:
... your anniversary month is repeated again next February. This means that if you make a balance transfer request during February 2006, you'll not be charged any interest on it for up to five months.
    ...
no fee will be charged for this.
