You understand that the Great in Great Britain stands for the "greater area." Britain is the island itself. Great Britain is the main island and the smaller islands such as the Isle of Man and the Hebridies. It's a geographical term, not a reflection of the awesomeness of the collection of nations.

as for public image, do i care what goes on a this online forum, answer is not really. more important is family and friends. i put their birthdays and my social activities in my diary, you put URL's of my posts.
