addictedtolush wrote: »I think this may be a long shot but I don't suppose anyone would like to swap the NO7 tillspit (think you get it through SS tills) for a pinky? I am WETTING myself (soooo need a tena lady glitch right now) as I am off to London next weekend to get my son a passport so would be soooo rude of me not to go into some London boots. Southampton is lovely (at times!) but am very excited about going for a shop in the big City (can you tell I don't get out much!). Also if anyone could give me a heads up on the London stores (biggest, friendliest, good clearance), that would be great. Am off next Saturday so will be after the skincare and TS and TD vouchers so not too fussed about what stores have these. Am looking forward to using a SS till for possibly a pinky and NO7 tillspit combo for a NO7 foundation I need and a powder. Yey!!
Hello addictedtolush!!
The Biggest in on Oxford Street, its called sedley place and it's near to Bond Street Tube. Ya can't miss it!! It's got 3 floors, is well stocked, SS tills downstairs but I've never found clearance there. Have had friendly SAs too.
The smaller one next to Bond St Tube has two floors and clearance is normally upstairs, also SS tills.
I like the one that's at Picadilly Circus, 2 floors and inbetween sizes of the last 2. Clearance is rather sporodic here though. SAs vary too.
There's also a 2 floor one on tottenham court road (the end with oxford street) which is full of SS tills. SAs ok there.
The one in holborn is small but can have good clearance sometimes.
There are multiple smaller stores around central london. Clearance has been spotted at occasion at victoria station. I take it you'll come into waterloo? There's a small one there but never clearance. I'm sure some other Bootsers can add more to this but should give you something to go on. Happy Bootsing!!!0 -

I have sustained a bootsing injury! Nothing major though, I seemed to have damaged my finger from carrying too many toy filled bags today :rotfl: it's gone completely numb  :rotfl:
Got lots of toys 75% off and 3 for 2
The SA who served me was absolutely brilliant, helping me find all the toys that were being reduced, I will be contacting CS to praise her up no end :T
Anyway my pressie [strike]stash[/strike], [strike]cupboard[/strike], huge 3 door wardrobe is bulging at the seams lol, added today:
1 x Boots LTP learn along lorry £5 (was £20)
1 x Boots LTP Splish splash turtle £3.75 (was £15)
1 x Boots LTP Brumm brumm driver £3 (was £12)
3 x Moonsand under sea set £2.50 each (was £10)
3 x Playdoh fuzzy pumper crazy cuts £2.50 (was £10)
1 x Big hug Laa laa £6.25 (was £24.99)
1 x Vtech sing and discover piano £5 (was £19.99)
1 x Thomas the tank engine learn to tell time alarm clock £3 (was £12)
1 x Boots LTP Healthy Harry game £1.50 (was £6)
1 x Boots LTP Bits n pieces rhyme time £1.75 (was £7)
1 x Boots LTP Bits n pieces monsters £1.25 (was £5)
As it was 3 for 2 I obviously didn't pay for all of that, so £33.25 for £181.98 worth of goodies :T
For anyone thinking that I look like a greedy so and so, I did leave lots on the shelves, but It is DD's birthday in 12 days and I thought I would give her party guests a little gift rather than loads of tack in a party bag
I also got some more perfume: the Dior J'adore summer edition (with the gold shimmer) for £11.50I have lost count of how much perfume I have now but I think it's about 26 bottles
3 children under 5 means not enough comping and crafting time
August wins: Krisprolls tin :rotfl:
September wins: £100 H&M gift card0 -
Wandered into the Mother and Baby section of one store today and spotted a changing bag reduced from £25 to £5  OH thought I'd taken leave of my sense (he's got a point lol) but it's great. Loads of compartments etc, a seperate purse and a roll-type container were included, apart from the changing mat.
The good thing is .... there's nothing 'babyish' about itso I've decided to fill it up with cosmetics, toiletries, cotton wool etc, and maybe a pair of pyjamas, which it'll easily accommodate and give it as a Christmas hamper instead of using a basket. (It's the chocolate coloured one with pink waterproof lining if anyone's interested and better still, it wasn't in the clearance as such but was priced at £5 on the SEL so worth looking for imo).
Just need to find another one now for my other niece(A new pair of legs would do too lol, I can hardly walk after the last few days of shopping
)
I've got that bag in pink (used as a changing bag) and its gorgeous
I paid £25 (well in points) earlier this year though, £5 is a fab bargain.
xSlightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....0 -
