how to put links to specific posts on here?

I know how to post hyperlinks, but how do you post a link to, for example, post number 53 in a specific thread?

Right click on the post number in the upper righthand corner of the post and select "copy link" or whatever terminology your browser uses.

I've seen other people put links to specific posts, but whilst also still showing the rest of the thread - you just have to scroll up or down. How do you do that?

What you explained above links to the post, but only that post and not the rest of the thread in addition.

Oh, I see. When you quote someone, a link to that post appears beside their name in the quote (looks like a blue square with a white arrow in it).

If you copy that link, it'll give you a link that goes directly to their post. The easiest way to do is is to quote the post you want to link to and then preview your post. The link will be in the preview and you can copy it from there.

You can do that or just select the individual post by right cliking it's number and copying the URL.

I use both methods depending on what I want to do.

That's the first method I posted above. The problem is that it only displays the specific post you link to.
