Would any Londoners like to educate me on which Boots are the best around the centre of london? Around oxford street, covent garden, etc. oh and maybe a bit around camden!

    I'm coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are 2 Boots in Camden - one by Camden tube and the other at the Mornington Crescent end. Neither of them have an ATM machine and they have limited ranges in stock. So I wouldn't recommend that you make a special trip there.

I always find the Boots by Piccadilly Circus to be pretty good, but I'm sure others on here will have their favourites too!
    Ebay: £34.68

This didn't work for me in my local Boots. They were reduced to £1 each - I took three up to the till with three serums but the till beeped each time. The SA was really nice about it though.

Has it been refused for anyone else, or have you all got lucky? I might try it again next week .....

    Sue x

The serum beeped for me both times I tried it, the mask and conditioner went through fine though.
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

Hi quick question, can you use the acm vouchers after the day you printed them out? A SA said no to me today (and I could not get another 500 points on suncare) but I had 2 in my bag which she would not accept! Is this right as I know some of you are sending them on to others and wanted to make sure it was ok to use after date on acm voucher tyia x

    Hi Lupyloo

On the back of ACM vouchers it does say "This coupon can only be used on the date specified overleaf against the product described.

Subject to conditions specified on screen and on coupon."

BUT most SA's are pretty good and don't check the date rigidly and say no, occassionally you find one who knows the rules, and does so.

Try again with a different SA, you may be luckier.;)

Am I going mad or was there/is there an ACM for cracked heel balm? If so I think it was on this Boots one or the Flexitol? I thought there was something recently on ACM with feet on it! :rotfl:
    hero.jpg£3.99/£8.99 Both on BOGOHP
    hero.jpg£4.99/£8.99 Both on BOGOHP

CCS Heel Balm £5.99 and Foot Care Cream £6.99 is also BOGOHP

Boots Gorgeous Feet Rapid Cracked Heel Repair £4.99 is also on BOGOHP and they do lots of fabby bits, may be good if feet are not drastically cracked? REST OF RANGE

yes, there was. 50p of the larger cracket heel foot balm. But it had to be the larger one. I tried it on the smaller one and the till beeped. I think all my vouchers for it now have expired.

    Morning peeps!
Just got up after going to see Kylie at the O2 last night - and we were a bit late getting home <yawn> She was fantastic - a really fun evening, bless her she even fell off her very high heels and just got up, chuckled about it and carried on - what a trooper!

Did some shopping in London Piccadilly & Oxford St - will post later.

Just wanted to share with you something that I just spotted on Uk Hot Deals - I haven't tested this myself, but might have to find a Boots today after all :rotfl:

Quoted from HUK... You can tell it is a quote as I don't spell deoderant like that :rotfl:
"Lynx deodrant 2 for £4 is a deal within itself as it is normally £2.50 per can. I took the Lynx 3 box set (2 cans in a box, both can be used as a regular spray although they can also be used together to create a different scent) which is on the shelf at £4.99 and it scanned through as part of the 2 for £4 offer."

Sounds like a deal to me - looks like you can buy 2 x "Lynx 3" - it has two cans - not three, three is just the name - how confusing is that:confused: for the £4 deal.

Hope that's of use to someone!!

My London shopping - you have to appreciate this was NOT a shopping trip and we had to carry these bags into the O2 arena last night and have them searched by security - they must have thought I was out of my tree, going to a show with all my goodies :rotfl:

Shop1 - the big Boots in Oxford Street.
    2 x No7 Body firming ( I need that, oh yes I do!) BOGOF £10.50
    NO7 GWP
    2 x clearance No7 Shimmer sets (summer 2007) £3.00 each
    6 x JK Nail files £12.00

Used £5.00 wys £20 on No7 PC (from Ebay )
    £5.00 Holiday essentials Till spit

    To pay £18.50 + 1524 points

(Silly me! I slipped up and forgot that the 200 pts wys £25 from ACM doesn't work if the real total is less than £25. And I paid on the top floor (baby stuff) and the JK nail files were on the ground floor so couldn't just grab a few more!)

Saw lots of TD wipes for £2.00 but mindful that this wasn't a shopping trip..... decided better to keep OH on side and move on to another Boots.... which was coincidentally very close to where we got dinner :rotfl:

So Shop2 - Piccadilly Circus (which says on the receipt that it is in Regent St:confused:)
    2 x No7 Body firming ( can't get enough firming!) BOGOF £10.50
    NO7 GWP
TS Long Hair Shampoo & Conditioner 0.00
    8 x JK Nail files £16.00
    Olay TE Hand Moisturiser £4.97
Used £5.00 Holiday essentials Till spit
600 pts wyb Olay TE Moisturiser
PC voucher for free TS conditioner
Mag voucher for free Long Hair product
    200pts wys £25 ACM
    Total to pay £26.47
    Total Points 2836

Lovely chap on the till - I've been served by him before, was very impressed with my style of shopping. Bless :D

Not bad considering I didn't go shopping :rotfl:
