Capping

My consumption is similar to yours, I'm currently with Ebico, the lowest capped rate is around 25% more expensive so I'm staying put.
The main reason being that the capped rates are only available for 12 months. Its a gamble, but its cheaper to buy more sweaters and a woolly hat. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
My consumption is approx 400.00 a year electric and 10.00 a year gas. ( im a believer in dressing for the winter weather. )
Energyhelpline.com tells me cheapest capped/price freeze tariffs would be 75.00/95.00 a year more than im paying atm hence my belief that for many the best way is to be on the cheapest variable rate tariff and switch suppliers every 2/3 months with 60.00ish cashback each time.0 -
But some compnies charge you to change-£30 sometimes0
