Iceland £10.50 in vouchers - instore

Hiya

I've just been to Iceland and picked up from the checkout a leaflet
that has vouchers totalling £10.50.
They are valid from 01.01.06 to 31.01.06 all are 50p each,
thought these might be handy when shopping in tescos!!! lol

Hope this helps someone!

If Tescos and Asda are lowering prices every day,
how come nothing is free yet? :rotfl:

  • Just been to Tesco they are no lomger taking coupons not one. All checkout staff had to sign a form saying they will not take coupons.

Are these Iceland specific or vouchers that you can use anywhere? My Tesco won't have them if they have a shop name on. It does not have a self scan. Thanks.

Which Tesco store is this? And do you mean they have stopped taking all money off coupons?

I do all my shopping at Iceland. I find it's the cheapest shop in the high street. I'll go and look for these vouchers next time I go.

  • Eastville in Bristol yes all coupons they are not going to take any coupons unless you buy it. I was there when the cheekout girl had to sign the form she went to all checkout staff as they were working she took over while the girl read it and sign it.
  • I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. If so I'm sure many shoppers will take their custom elsewhere. Even if Asda decided to follow suit, I'm sure their customers would rather shop at Lidl as it is far cheaper.
  • I used a £1 coupon this afternoon for a bit of shopping at Tesco without buying the product and she was fine, and they are really funny with you at our Tesco as it is only a small store.

Maybe they haven't received the memo yet!

I hate the way Tescos have got the monopoly on everything. If you do everything with them they can keep tracks on how often you fart every day (it's a joke, dont take it too seriously). I try not to use Tescos if I can as they are getting a bit like Big Brother. It's much cheaper at Iceland even if they dont give points and they dont charge you £5 to do a home delivery.

  • That's true Saturn. Also Iceland have a lot more buy one, get one free offers than Tesco. Only reason I shop at Tesco is its nearer to me and they take the coupons. If that stops I'll head to Iceland or Lidl.
