Egg Money Balance Transfer 0% Help Please?

Can anyone help please as the Egg man on the phone dosen't seem too sure of the answer!!

I was just about to bo a BT from my Abbey CC through my Egg Money Card and off to my Current Account when I noticed that I can get a BT from my egg money card as well! (14m @ 0% with 3% fee)

If i do this then the EMC will be showing a minus balance. Am i able to then still BT through the EMC form other cards or will the minus balance now become plus and therefore cover the original BT and charge me interest?

Thanks

You seem to be confused with which Egg product you have. The Egg Card (Visa) has the 0% offer, whereas the Egg Money card (Mastercard) does not have a 0% offer.

It sounds like you have the Egg Card, in which case you shouldn't be using this as a routing card during the introductory period since you'll pay a 2.5% BT fee to Abbey and a 3% BT fee to Egg...ie, you'll make a loss!!

Also, the Abbey card is an SBT card in it's own right isn't it? If so, you've no need to go through any Egg card to get the cash into your current account.

No confusion,They are offering me the deal on the Egg Money Card(Mastercard.) So do you think the transfer as explained will work?

I'm sorry to disagree, as what YB has said Egg money don't offer 0%, it is it's standard Egg card that does that.

I sure hope not as I am about to ask for some more information myself. I am really interested into a 0 apr balance transfer offer and I need exact informations about it.

If I do a balance transfer to my EGG money card with no negative balance on the EGG account, could I then just transfer the amount into my current account without having to pay EGG a fee?

Mable, I believe you can, but I know for certain you can draw up to £500 per day from a positive balance (with no fee) and then pay it into any account you want wish.

    Indeed you can sicker...

How do I make a withdrawal?

Can I transfer balances to Egg Money?

No fee for either method, and no interest charged so long as no negative balance is created.

Be careful of purchase transactions already made, but not yet posted to the account, and don't use the card for purchases again until the BACS transfer/BT has been posted to the account if you want to transfer all of your positive balance.
