Have been thinking of Jills mum and here's hoping the treatment goes well and she's soon fighting fit again. On Thursday I'll be spending 5+ hours at the hospital with my mum who is having test after test after test, so I'll be able to sit in peace and quiet and say a prayer for Thomas. :A
I'll also be thinking of you other mums on here who have lost little ones but who have been brave enough to suggest songs and offer support. HUGS

Sorry for the delay in sending my contribution, is now in the hands of good old Royal Mail. Thanks for sorting it all out. :T
Now for the less important stuff...Boots.

Has anyone noticed a slight change to the coupons in the new Boots mag? I'm pretty sure that the old ones didn't say 'One per customer only' !!! did they??
No insert in my mag for Model Me but can someone check theirs to see if they also say the dreaded one per customer bit please. Maybe Mr B has cottoned onto this repeat use of vouchers.
On the plus side I managed to spot a Ted Baker vanity case (the one with the mirror in the lid, plus shower cap and wash scrunchie)
reduced from £20 to £10. I bought it pronto 'cos I had been wondering whether to at £20 anyway. LOL He doesn't know it yet, but that's part of my birthday prezzie off my DH!
Also used my £5 off perfume voucher (also to be for my birthday!) and got some CK Eternity Moment
which came to £12.99 after the voucher. Dozy moi forgot you can't use money off vouchers when you pay with points! I was thinking I could get this with points and then I have another b'day prezzie and it wont have really cost anything but not to be. LOL. Never mind he's payin'!
Then spotted some Time Delay Hand and Nail cream SPF8 reduced to £1.25.(No pic on .com)
Popped outside, ripped the 200 points wyb any Time Delay product voucher out of new mag and essentially got paid to take it away. There were loads left but had by this point read the one per customer bit so didn't want to push my luck. The lovely SA thought it was a good deal too and he showed it to one of his colleagues too.
There certainly wasn't an overall sale on in the store, just the odd thing on SEL and not many at that! Nothing in Sanctuary reduced, or S & G, or Botanics (apart from tiny face masks) and also the Berry Holdalls have disappeared, there are only the red ones out now. So surely that means the brown ones are hiding somewhere ready to emerge in the sale. :rotfl: (Actually, I prefer my TB vanity case now.)
Good luck to those of you who have found proper sales in their Boots.(<Green with envy grin. LOL)
Forgot to say, my ACM offers were awful, 100 points wyb any Boot hosiery/100 points wyb Boots Expert Anti D Shampoo and 100 points wyb any Sanctuary bath accessories. Am thrilled. Not.0 -
I bought the Helena shampoo today and the model.me mag voucher beeped, but the SA put it on manually with no problem. You should give the mag voucher first so that the SA doesn't think it beeped because it was used in conjunction with other vouchers. The haircare voucher and the ACM for 250 points came off fine, so I spent 2.99 and got 500 points back.
The Trevor Sorbie mag voucher for a free TS long hair product when you buy any other TS product also beeped. The till said that the sale hadn't started yet, but I pointed out that today is 2 July and that's what the coupon says. So they put that in manually, too. I bought TS curl cream with it, and also used the ACM voucher for 100 points when you buy a TS long hair product, and 2 pound off till spit. So paid 2.99 for the curl cream and got a conditioner free plus 100 points. FYI, I made sure to get the long hair conditioner in the white and blue packaging just in case the coupon beeped, because that's in the picture on the front of the coupon and it will be obvious that you have the correct product.
The SA said these coupons will probably be in the system and working in a few days, fyi.
Also, you still get a haircare till spit if you spend 5 pounds.
Edit: Just noticed on my receipt that they took off the TS curl cream for free when they did it manually rather than the TS long hair conditioner, so I paid 2.49 instead of 2.99 after all the coupons. But that means I actually paid for the conditioner, so I can't verify that the coupon for 100 points on TS long hair will work in conjunction with the mag coupon to get it free, but it probably will.0 -

Don't panic, I thought the same thing when I read it on a new coupon yesterday! So I looked at one of the old ones, and it said basically the same thing, just worded slightly differently and placed lower in the small print. They do seem to have played up this stipulation a little, but it probably won't cause any problems to our Bootsing.0 -
I popped into Riverside Boots, Nottingham today - no sale, but all the previously reduced stuff on the SEL had been moved to a small clearance section - everything else on shelves were as normal price.
My bank statements tell me the sale was right at the start of August last year - so perhaps the better sale is yet to come!!DFW No. 344
Proud to be dealing with my debts!!:T0 -
The latest Clarins offer (replaces the one on p1)
Buy any 2 products, one skincare, and get a summer 'carry-all' canvas bag, with:
30ml multi-active day cream
75ml body scrub
100ml body lotion
After sun moisturiser 20ml
Gloss appeal mini
either Eau Dynamisante, or Eau Ressourcante, 15ml size.
But if you buy 3 products you get the gift AND 1000 points. I resisted, but it's not a bad offer. It lasts until 13 July.
Edited to add: instore, not online.0 -
