Urgh. That's really bad customer service and shows she has no idea of her store's policies, plus it's just rudeness in general. It is NOT up to the SAs to decide what's 'too good' of an offer to go through - I wish some of them would realise that we carefully plan our shops and save up our vouchers carefully and we know that others have used them together: all of this is sensible shopping, we're not trying to do boots over! If we were, surely there would be easier ways than using vouchers?

wish my boots sa's would understand this, there bloody useless

Can anyone expand on whether the med body butters would be classed as BABY DEPT to use a bonus points on spend coupon from PC?

This Massage butter is in the baby dept hero.jpg and works with the voucher no problems so dont be worried. As does this:

This is the gftset that I got in clearance so it will give you some idea of what the products look like. The box is white with a yellow cross (like a first aid kit) and a small Smiley face, Smiley Kit written in black.

    pho19.jpg

Still £29.95 up here and that's with £15.05 off. Might have to give up on it :(

    :rotfl:

Loads and loads and even more loads of reductions instore today - NC, Med, EA, ummm S&G, and a few others I've forgotten about ......

    ...... and all gone :rotfl:

    Wasn't it Rubes? :D;)

S&G miniatures that were reduced from £2 to £1 were 50p though, so I bagged two. Bargain or what? :D

Just curious as to whether I've been spun a line, or whether it's true, but I bought some TB minis yesterday, and they were such good value that I went back today for some more. Only thing was, the SA's were in a bit of a flap taking it off the customers who were taking it to the till.

So when I asked why, a SA said it had been recalled and that anyone who's bought it recently will be informed by mail (not sure which type of mail) and seemingly, that was that.

Fact or fiction do you people think?

And ....... we're getting SS tills

It hasn't even been reduced to half price by me !

Same here, no reductions. I was going to buy the S+G pollyfilla today but they had no GWP out .

I asked SA (Who was checking shelves) she never even bothered looking up at me when I asked if they had any GWP left. So I put the product back, One sale lost to Boots. Not that she cared.

I wasn't that bothered about the bag really, but the attitude of the SA was so bad, I thought why should I bother.

  • Hi All,

Still catching up and just reading posts from Tiara, MSMOO, Skibster and Buffy - hope I have got right people re shiny faces/oil free powders. Sorry I couldn't quote - tried to copy and paste and lost the paste buttons!

Anyway, No7 do a Shine Free Make-Up Base (or they used to). I got this ages ago and although it does stop shine, I could never get make-up on properly over it! BUT I did try it the other day just over the top of Sun Cream and it went on OK over that and did seem to stop the shine. Needs a light touch though because too much and and I found I got white patches:eek:

If they still do it, I wonder if this would count as make-up and you could use £5 voucher against? HTH
