I've STILL not bought the Oilatum shampoo and bath stuff that i really want to try.

I saw the shampoo in Boots the other day and it was over £12!! Must be somewhere that sells it cheaper - just not had a chance to shop around yet.

    No.......... :o

I seem to run out of time at the weekends. I've still not got a holiday booked and been faffing around about that for weeks. I did get to the dentist - to find I need more work (around £950 worth  ) I'm a bit stuck - between a rock and a hard place in my life at the mo. I keep trying to move forward but getting shoved backwards all the time!

I really really need a holiday.... not had one for years. Do I spend what I have saved for the holiday on my teeth?? Also, get minimum holidays at work, so - do I save the days for time off to get teeth done? Or take unpaid time off and lose money?

No wonder my skin flares up........ :o

  • Check out Tesco dental plan for you teeth. Thye have a 3 mth qualifying period, can your teeth wait that long? Then you get back I think its 75% of the cost. Do a search on this board and something should come up or just go straight to Tescos site and check it out. Its worth a try I guess.

    Good luck

Thank you KM - teeth can wait - I was planning to spread it all out a bit anyway - its the time off work too that is hassle!

    How are you?

  • I'm ok thanks.. On the itching front it comes and goes  which is annoying as you try to pin point causes etc as you know. I took the 'wrong' shampoo back that I bought and they exchanged it for the right one. I like it, it certainly makes my hair feel clean and soft but obviously its something I will have to keep up as the itching comes back. I'm itching now I'm typing about it :p

  • Hi all

I went to the doc who gave me doublebase gel for my face. I really like it and it seems good and feels really protective on my skin so thought it might be good for you Jeannie in the garage to protect you skin?

I've not done a 'link' thing before so bear with me it may not work!

Look what I found when I wasn't even looking for it....

    Blimey - I think 'she's' done it!!

I expect brownie points - or a house point - that's if it works.

Above - very high in Allantoin!!!

I was looking for Luffa complex - which I have ordered (hayfever) and found above, which I have also ordered.

Now I know you are dying for an update.

Can't let you know anything yet apart from the fact that I have received email today saying that the order is dispatched - may receive tomorrow! Am excited after accidentally finding the allantoin! Also can't wait to try the Luffa complex. As there are so many of us suffering in various degrees with hayfever and the like, we have our fingers crossed that this Luffa wil help.

And I personally can't wait to try this particular comfrey - which is very high in allantoin.

Am excited and probably need to get a life :o

... probably need to get a life :o

Dunno how you can say that, given what a difference the goo could make to your 'comfort'. You're too hard on yourself ;)

(I only put a 'Thanks' on your previous post because I didn't want to contribute an 'empty' post that would draw people here only to find... nothing much! Now I've done it - my excuse is that it's to encourage you :)
