Hoping to book a few days away in February, however waiting for an appointment that can't be missed. Is there any type of insurance available I could buy should I have to cancel the holiday?  tia

    I doubt anybody's going to insure you for something which sounds pretty likely to happen?

    Wait till you get your appointment then book somewhere.
