i have decided to go with your advice and not pay my husbands debts off, my debts will be clear in 3months,i have said i will pay debenhams card of as it was mainly my spending only 700 pound. when my husband does his budget every 12 months for debt companys proposals can they take my child tax credit, and carers allowance or will it just come out of his income.i know the cab done this but i owed money then as well.i have been paying his debts of for years he dosent give a monkeys and keeps running them back up so, time for him to learn, he had a £35 charge on the bank today as his loan bounced.also a quickie for a friend whose husband has done a bunk leaving her with debts what happens when you dont pay hp and credit cards of . what can they actually do to you.if your a single parent on benifit.she is basically paing of debts and having no food etc. thanks guys.
