    Lidl is offering up to 50% off on selected items this weekend Sat 13 and Sun 14 Jul, including:

    England and Wales:

    - 40 dishwasher tablets, 1.59 (norm 3.29)

    Thanks, I may pick up a couple of bottles. Dishwasher tablets are a good price but I rarely use mine.

    I wonder who Lidl's target market is? Because if you don't eat meat, don't drink and don't own a dishwasher there's no reason not to go to Aldi instead if its equidistant / closer.

    Scotland gets one bottle of wine at 4.50 and chicken kievs instead of the two bottles of wine south of the border, plus some porridge oat bars.

    I don't drink wine, rarely eat pork and I find Lidl own brand dishwasher tabs don't clean well....
