I have bought a tv from tesco direct and am waiting for delivery. Any idea who delivers for them?

I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet.;)

Only ever had 1 order from Tesco Direct (turned out to be 2;) ) a few years back, got a lean mean grilling machine and it came courtesy of our "Friends" at Famac  2 weeks after I ordered I had to contact Tesco and ask where it was, they sent a replacement and the following week it came. The week after that the replacement came too and was left in my bin:eek:
Thankfully only charged for 1 so it was a freebie christmas pressy to the Mother in Law
Famac now gone (Thank the Lord) and had stuff from boots recently who also used Famac, but came in unmarked White VanDelivery was quick but so fingers crossed yours is too.
P.S. did Tesco Direct charge you extra for postage to Our Wee CountryI am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -
I think tesco direct just charge the same amount wherever you are (from memory a flat fee of £5). The only annoying thing is that they will deliver to a Tesco extra store for free if you pick up the parcel but of course we don't have any Tesco extra stores in the north at all..0

As far as I know Famac have just reopened using a different name, can't remember what it is though.Jellynose0 -
The company formally known as Famac deliver for Tesco, think its home delivery network, but for larger items its a different companyWell I Love Tv And I Love T. Rex, I Can See Through Your Skirt I've Got X-Ray Spex0

Think its called Home Delivery Network (formerly Famac) so look forward to lots of unhelpfulness & parcels being left in your bin0

I can confirm they are now called Home Delivery Network - I have had two deliveries from them in the past week. I also work in the industry and got talking to the driver - he confirmed that they used to be Famac but its nothing like what it used to be - they have sign on scanners now and have to attempt to get a signature - not like the old chuck it in the recycling bin and hope for the best. They have to be more accountable now for what they deliver/don't deliver - long may it continue!Sarah0

Oh believe me, the HDN do indeed deliver for Tesco DIrect and they are just as bad as they were when they were FAMAC. Had a long running battle with Tesco last year over an undelivered/missing Camera. No signature of any sort could be produced by HDN but it still took 2 weeks to get a refund... Grrr.
If we didn't get staff discount I wouldn't bother at all.
However, I recently ordered a PS3 from Tesco Entertainment/Extra and it arrived in 2 days via Royal Mail for £1.64 Delivery charge!0 -
The HDN deliver for argos and littlewoods as well. I have found them fantastic, I must be at the start of the route because I have got my last 8 or 9 orders before 9am.0
