Self certification including part a day off

Hello everyone,

So last weds I went home after i was half way through my working day. I am still feeling unwell a week on and wondered, if I am off again tomorrow does the half day get taken into account with the 7 day self certification rule? Or do I need to go to the docs for a note tomorrow?

Thank you

Gemma

You need to check with your employer regarding their sick pay rules if company sick pay is to be paid.
As far as statutory sick pay is concerned any day when any work is done is ignored so day 1 is the first day you were sick and did no work.
