Barclaycard refund for charges during BR

Morning all,
I’ve had a cheque through for £619.01 this morning for charges whilst my account was open that shouldn’t have happened.
The final paragraph states the following:-
“Please note that you should think about your obligations under the term of your Bankruptcy regarding the refund amount”
I have been discharged since Aug 16 so is that quote indicating that if I was still BR I should inform the OR?
Regards

It means you need to inform the OR regardless, if the refund stems from a pre BR event.0

Even though I’m no longer BR and my IPA has finished?0

Yes as you owe that money if the charges were for an account prior to completion of IPA.An answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

Yes. The best way to think about it is that up to the day of the BR order being signed all the finances that were yours are no longer yours and belong to the OR, both the debts and assets. Anything that happens as a result of things that occurred before the date of the bankruptcy is therefore the ORs in perpetuity.Brandnewstart79 wrote: »Even though I’m no longer BR and my IPA has finished? This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
